新华社北京11月19日电 中央宣传部、中央精神文明建设办公室、全国总工会、共青团中央、全国妇联、中央军委政治工作部近日印发了《关于评选表彰第九届全国道德模范的通知》。全文如下：
2007年以来，中央宣传部、中央文明办、全国总工会、共青团中央、全国妇联、中央军委政治工作部每2年举办一届全国道德模范评选表彰活动，大力培育和践行社会主义核心价值观，充分发挥道德模范榜样示范作用，弘扬中华传统美德，培育时代新风新貌，不断提高人民思想觉悟、道德水准、文明素养，争做崇高道德的践行者、文明风尚的维护者、美好生活的创造者，形成崇德向善、见贤思齐、德行天下的浓厚社会氛围。经中央领导同志批准，现启动第九届全国道德模范评选表彰活动。现将有关事项通知如下。
